NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID IN ALASKA, HAWAII AND WHERE OTHERWISE PROHIBITED. PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FORTY-EIGHT (48) CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO OF LEGAL AGE OF MAJORITY AND RESIDE IN THE UNITED STATES AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS INTENDED FOR PLAY IN THE UNITED STATES ONLY AND IS GOVERNED BY U.S. LAW. DO NOT ENTER IF YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE BECAUSE OF YOUR AGE OR BECAUSE YOUR ARE NOT AT THE TIME OF ENTRY A LEGAL RESIDENT IN ONE OF THE FORTY-EIGHT CONTIGUOUS STATES.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Open to legal residents of the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States and the District of Columbia who are of legal age of majority in the state in which they reside at the time of entry (legal age of majority is 19 years in AL and NE and 18 years in all other relevant states). Employees, contractors, directors and officers of Sharp Electronics Corporation (“Sponsor”), the MLB Entities (as outlined below), Major League Baseball Players Association (together with its employees, officers, affiliates, representatives, agents, members, successors, and assigns, the “MLBPA”), Relay Worldwide, and each of their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, distributors, franchisees and their employees, web design, advertising, fulfillment, judging and sweepstakes agencies involved in the administration, development, fulfillment and execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively, “Sweepstakes Parties”) are not eligible to participate. In addition, the immediate family members of the Sweepstakes Parties (including spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, and spouse or "step" relative) as well as those living in the same households of the Sweepstakes Parties (i.e., those persons whether related or not who live in the same residence for at least three months during the twelve-month period immediately preceding the start date of the Sweepstakes) are not eligible to participate. The “MLB Entities” shall mean the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, including its bureaus, committees, subcommittees and councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P. (“MLBAM”), Major League Baseball Enterprises, Inc., Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., each of the thirty Major League Baseball Clubs, Tickets.com, Inc., SportsOnEarth, LLC and each of their respective subsidiaries or affiliated entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with any of the thirty Major League Baseball Clubs or the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, and the directors, officers, employees and agents of such entities.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: Sweepstakes begins on 7/10/09 at 12:00:01 am Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on 9/28/09 at 11:59:59 pm ET (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s clock is the official clock for this Sweepstakes.
TO ENTER: Log on to www.SharpMLB.com (“Web Site”) at any time during the Sweepstakes Period. Follow on-screen directions and complete and submit an online registration form. Once the registration form is complete and properly submitted, entrants will receive [a confirmation via email that they have] one (1) entry into the drawing (“Drawing”) for one of the prizes identified below. During the registration process, entrants will be asked to select which Grand Prize (defined below) they would like to win and you will be entered into the Drawing for that Grand Prize only. Once entrants have submitted their registration form, they will also be given the opportunity to play an online game (“Online Game”). Online Games consist of search and find games. After playing the Online Game, each entrant will receive one (1) additional sweepstakes entry into the Drawing (for the same Grand Prize selected during the registration process). Automated means of entry are prohibited. Limit one (1) entry and one (1) additional entry upon playing the Online Game per person, household and/or email address per Day during the Sweepstakes Period. A “Day” is defined as the 24 hours between 12:00:01 am ET and 11:59:59 pm ET. All information submitted online by entrants is subject to, and will be treated in a manner consistent with MLB.com’s Terms of Use accessible at: http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/official_info/about_mlb_com/terms_of_use.jsp and Privacy Policy accessible at: www.mlb.com/privacy.
DRAWINGS, PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (“ARV”): Grand Prize and First Prize (in each case, as identified below) winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning a Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received for each available Grand Prize. Odds of winning a First Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received for each available First Prize. Drawing will be conducted on or about 10/9/09. Limit one (1) prize per person, household and/or email address.

TEN (10) GRAND PRIZES: There will be a total of ten (10) Grand Prizes awarded, each such proze shall be the Sharp Players Choice™ Entertainment Packages as listed below. The Sharp Players Choice™ Entertainment Packages consist of items selected by the applicable MLB player as noted in the prize descriptions below. Entries will be submitted to the applicable Grand Prize Drawing for the Players Choice™ Entertainment Package selected at the time of registration.

NINE (9) FIRST PRIZES:

For all prizes: The ARV of electronic prizes is subject to price fluctuations in the consumer marketplace based on, among other things, any gap in time between the date the ARV is estimated for purposes of these Official Rules and the date the prize is awarded or redeemed. No cash equivalent, other substitution, assignment or transfer of prizes permitted, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of greater or comparable value.

TOTAL ARV OF ALL PRIZES IN THE SWEEPSTAKES IS: $70,044.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Prize winners are solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes (including income taxes) and other fees associated with prize receipt and use of their respective prizes. All winners will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the market value of the prize. No cash equivalent or substitution of prize is permitted, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. No transfer of prize will be permitted. By participating, each entrant agrees, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor which are final and binding in all respects. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Each potential prize winner will receive notification via electronic mail (the “Notification Email”) that they have been selected as a potential winner and will have five (5) days from date notification was sent to reply to such Notification Email with an address confirmation. Failure to reply within the time allotted will, at Sponsor’s discretion, result in a disqualification, and the applicable prize will be forfeited and an alternate potential winner will be chosen from among all remaining eligible entries. Once address confirmation is received, each potential prize winner will be required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release, and, where lawful, a Publicity Release within ten (10) days of attempted notification. Failure to reply within the time allotted may result in a forfeiture of the prize. Each potential prize winner will be required to submit his/her valid social security number and/or other identification to Sponsor. Sponsor and all other Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible if any email notification is not received timely for any reason, including without limitation because of potential winner’s SPAM filter. If a prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize with another prize of comparable or greater value. Sponsor and all other Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone, cable, satellite, network, electronic, wireless or internet connectivity or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, any Internet service providers, servers, hosts or providers; garbled, jumbled or faulty data transmissions; failure of any e-mail transmissions to be sent to or received; lost, late, delayed or intercepted e-mail transmissions; unauthorized human intervention; traffic congestion; incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause); or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed entries that may limit one’s ability to enter the Sweepstakes. The Sponsor and all other Sweepstakes Parties do not assume any responsibility for any disruption in the Sweepstakes caused by schedule changes (including event cancellations), labor strikes, or any other act, circumstance or other unforeseen event outside of the control of the Sponsor and/or all other Sweepstakes Parties. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes, to withdraw the offer, cancel any method of entry, to void any entries submitted fraudulently and without prior notice, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes in whole or in part if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prizes at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR AND EACH OTHER SWEEPSTAKES PARTY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term or provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that term or provision. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures and other statements contained in any Sweepstakes materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. As a condition of entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees that: under no circumstances will the entrant be entitled or permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant expressly waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages, and any other damages, other than actual, out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in no event shall attorney’s fees be recoverable by either party. This Sweepstakes is offered only in the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States and is governed by the laws of the state of New Jersey, and all claims must be resolved in the federal or state courts in Bergen County, New Jersey.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE: Entrants must have a valid e-mail address. No liability or responsibility is assumed by Sponsor or any of the other Sweepstakes Parties resulting from entrant’s participation in or attempt to participate in the Sweepstakes, or download of any information in connection with participating in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor and each of the other Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for any typographical errors in the announcement of prizes or these Official Rules, or any inaccurate or incorrect data contained on the Web Site. Use of Web Site is at user’s own risk. Sponsor and the other Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for any personal injury or property damage or losses of any kind that may be sustained to user's or any other person's computer equipment resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes, use of the Web Site or the download of any information from the Web Site. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees, to the fullest extent permitted by law, that entrant has read and complied with the full Official Rules and hereby releases Sponsor and each of the other Sweepstakes Parties from any and all claims, damages or liabilities arising from or relating to such entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes. By accepting a prize, each prize winner agrees that the Sponsor and each of the other Sweepstakes Parties, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by winner and his/her heirs and executors against, any liability for injuries, losses, damages or claims of any kind to persons or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Sweepstakes; from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize; from participation in any prize-related activity or any travel related thereto which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize. Except where prohibited by law, each winner grants permission for Sponsor, the MLB Entities, MLBPA and each of their respective designees to use his/her name, photograph, statements, voice and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising and/or publicity purposes in any media now known or hereafter devised, throughout the world, in perpetuity, without limitation and without additional compensation or consideration, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law.
